In celebration of Valentine's Day and in anticipation of what is promising to be an amazing summer (even though I have my doubts with this brutal winter weather), I give you...Oregon Bike Trails!

When you find gems, you show them off
These are too good not to share...
Have you ever asked yourself what you would get if you held a private house show and asked for a household lamp as a cover charge? Thank God Wore It Deep by The Tree Ring can help us answer this question, and with a lot of awesome mustache and violin action.
L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. by Noah and the Whale. Yup. It always does.
Doorways by Radical Face. Invisible Children said it best in their blog: "If this song doesn't make you want to stand up and start running somewhere, I don't know what will. Watch it. Be inspired. The sky is the doorway."

Adonai, for life
Adonai, here your beauty dwells
Adonai, for life
Hearts unfold before you
In the light of the sun
Fill the sky Adonai
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Let my spirit sing sweetly
For the love in your eyes
Hold me close, Adonai
-Halleluiah by Future of Forestry
Talk about some intense power. Out of every band I have found in 2011 so far (yes, I've been turned on to a couple really awesome ones and it's only January 21!), Future of Forestry trumps them all. I'm a sucker for this style of music -- songs that seem like a soundtrack to your thoughts and heartbeats. Their latest album, A Film & TV Collection was released at the beginning of this year and every song has been stuck on repeat at some point in my car, on my laptop or iPhone.
Instead of continuing to ramble on and ruin any kind of interest you might have, I'll just let you listen and discover for yourself.
